Hey y’all! My name is Olivia Goin and I am so excited to be a counselor this summer at StarQuest and StarPower! I am currently a communication design major at University of North Texas. I grew up doing theatre at the JCC, and I am a former StarQuest camper, and Camp Chai counselor! I am a musical theater nerd, Wicked being my favorite right now, and I love rock and roll! I am so excited to join the StarQuest and StarPower staff this summer, and I can’t wait to meet everyone!
Tatiana is a 2025 graduate of Booker T. Washington HSPVA. She has been doing theatre since she was 9 years old and she loves to create and tell stories on stage. This will be her first time working at StarQuest, but far from her first time with JPAS. She has performed in 6 JPAS productions including Mary Poppins Jr. as Mary Poppins. Other than theatre, she also enjoys playing saxophone and piano, crochet, baking, and practicing her french braiding skills. She is so excited to be sharing the magic of JPAS with campers this summer!
This is Jennifer's 5th year working with JCC at either the J Performing Arts Space and/or StarQuest or One-Weeker Camps. She is excited to be back with all the lovely humans involved and ready to have an amazing summer! Jennifer works professionally as an actor, stage manager, and designer in the DFW area. In her free time, Jennifer performs with the Dallas Street Choir and volunteers with fightinghomelessness.org. She recently was part of the Guys and Dolls Jr. production team working alongside all our actors. She can’t wait to make memories that last a lifetime this summer with all of you!
Gali is originally from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He’s currently living in Dallas, training on his technique, taking dance classes at Live Arts Conservatory and working on-stage after graduating last winter with his Musical Theater associates at KD Conservatory. Some of his favorite works have been performing Davey (Newsies), Principal (KD Cabaret “If I Ain’t Got You”), Pablo Del Valle (Native Gardens), Ensemble (Crazy For You) / (Light in the Piazza) and partake in a Coca-Cola Bev commercial music video. He’s more than excited to jump back into action after working with the kids on the Guys and Dolls Jr. Production, ready to seize their talent and craft.
Everyone's favorite ogre is back in this hilarious stage spectacle, based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film and outrageous Broadway musical.
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
Tickets are sold out. Thank you for your interest!
